Weekend Getaway

We traveled to Saint Augustine for their Night of Lights festival. I myself love St. Augustine. My husband however, had never traveled there before. Below you will find delicious places to eat and pictures of beautiful Saint Augustine. My one suggestion is to either stay at a bed and breakfast that provides parking or park in a lot and pay for the day, walking the majority of the time as parking can be tricky. .

We found a few great places to eat.

We got coffee and breakfast then rode on the trolly for a tour of Saint Augustine where we learned that their Martin Luther King Ave. is one of two streets named after Martin Luther King Jr that he has actually marched on.

At the end of our tour we headed to the Saint George Street where we walked around and got a lobster roll for dinner at DJ’s Clam Shack. We also got to see a ton of Christmas lights and ended our day with ice cream at Castle Ice Cream and Coffee.

I hope you enjoyed reading about our trip to Saint Augustine and find it helpful when you visit there!

Safe travels!
